Kia Ora My name is Sky Seamark and I've grown up on the Kapiti Coast for most of my 28years of life. I am a busy mum of four beautiful children Xaevieer 10, Te Kira 4, Te Teira 3, and Te Ariki 1. I'm the creator and the sole runner of Lunches On The Go. This idea has been something I've wanted to do for 3 years and thanks to the Rebel Business School I've now put that into action. Having had my children at Kohanga for the last 4 years one thing I have realized is how much of a challenge making their lunches could be. On busy days when we've been out all day and come home, I've realised I needed to get things for lunch the next day. Then doing a late-night run to the supermarket for lunches was a regular occurrence. Some days when we've had everything and we're running late I'd do a quick dash to the shop for their lunch and it ends up costing me a fortune. I found myself somedays stressed out on a busy morning rush with all my kids and trying to squeeze in time to make school lunches. All of these things combined are what have prompted me to open my own business to take all that stress off other parent's hands. Our Kitchen is going to be a large container that my Grandad who is a qualified builder at W.S builders will be converting into a fully legal and complied kitchen/ office. With help of many others around our community, our kitchen container vision will come to life. My dream is to open more kitchens around the country but until then small steps for me.
